-James Redding, a popular landscape artist, is well known for the intricate detail and the unmistakable realism found in his paintings. Never content to just create an attractive picture, Redding strives to capture and express the unique character of his subjects through a careful balance of composition, color, lighting, and mood. Admirers of James� work delight in spending time studying his pieces and searching out treasures not immediately obvious to the eye.
James� approach to art is uniquely his own, and it can best be described as the combination of vision and preparation. This approach lends itself well to depiction\'s of historical landmarks, for which James has a deep appreciation. His subject matter also includes still life, floral, and simplistic nature scenes found in the rich tapestry of the countryside.
James resided in picturesque Bucks County, Pa. for over 30 years before relocating to the Nashville area in 2015.
