A rose blooms within the universe of the Orion Nebula. This mixed medium artwork is from the Celestial Garden Collection of art by Carol Cavalaris. It combines a rose called Kordes Jubilee from Brigitte’s garden in France, with a Hubble photo of the Orion Nebula. This dramatic photo taken by NASA\'s Hubble Space Telescope, shows thousands of stars forming and some of them have never been seen in visible light. These stars reside in a dramatic dust-and-gas landscape of plateaus, mountains, and valleys that are reminiscent of the Grand Canyon.
