-This painting was inspired from a picture I took of a gorgeous male wolf, in the spring of 2006.

I was captivated by the gentleness in his glance, his beauty and the soft light of the sun.

I changed the green grass of my reference photo to the warm colors of the fall, to compliment the warmth in his eyes.

To provide with the best quality reproduction this painting was photographed by a professional photographer. He creates reproduction-quality digital files by direct capture, using a state-of-the-art 50 megapixel Hasselblad H5D camera.

-Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Jane Slivka always knew she would be an artist. Educated at Endicott Junior College in Boston and Ohio University, she also studied art history in Florence, Italy.
Inspired by the Impressionist Movement, Jane\'s work is large, colorful and exciting. Her work exudes energy.

Jane recently moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Mount Dora, Florida. When she is not showing or painting, she may be found teaching beginning to intermediate watercolor and acrylic painting classes in her area.
