-Jean-Jacques Lequeu (1757–1826) was born in Rouen, France, and studied architecture in Paris. Over the course of his career, which was drastically impacted by the 法国艺术家 Revolution of 1789 and its aftermarth, he worked as a draftsman, a surveyor, and a cartographer. His posthumous acclaim would come from the discovery of the hundreds of carefully preserved drawings he bequeathed to the Bibliotheque nationale de France in 1825, the year before his death.
