-Bruce was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and now resides in Florida. The change of seasons, the early morning and evening light gives Bruce the opportunity to push the envelope when it comes to light and shadow and aerial perspective. Each painting is treated individually with a complete change of color palette. Bruce strives to give his landscapes the depth that exists in real time. To accomplish this effect has taken years of effort as well as experimentation with different mediam\'s such as double primed, Belgium or Russian linen.
