She began her career in the field of fashion, working for Mademoisell Magazine and by the age of 24 was the art director for Pendleton Woolen Mills.

She lives in Orlando Florida with her three children.

-Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Jane Slivka always knew she would be an artist. Educated at Endicott Junior College in Boston and Ohio University, she also studied art history in Florence, Italy.
Inspired by the Impressionist Movement, Jane\'s work is large, colorful and exciting. Her work exudes energy.

Jane recently moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Mount Dora, Florida. When she is not showing or painting, she may be found teaching beginning to intermediate watercolor and acrylic painting classes in her area.
