-Ynon Mabat was born in Argentina in 1952 and moved to Israel as a young child. In his teen years he became fascinated with photography. He studied photography at Hadassah College in Jerusalem. His works have been exhibited in Museums in Israel, including a solo exhibition in the Arad Art Museum. Today his works are part of private and institutional collections in Israel, the Untied States and Europe. In November 2003 he relocated to Orlando, Florida along with his family.

Ynon paints his prints with colored inks, acrylics and crayons. The prints are then scanned and enhanced further digitally.

Ynon\'s work is a subjective description of events and life experiences, his own, or as part of the Israeli - Jewish collective.
