Modern brown morocco, stamped in black gothic motifs, gold titles on spine, marbled endpapers. Margins closely trimmed, with some loss of printed marginalia; Staining and browning, a few tears to margins.
Second French edition, based on the earlier edition by Vérard, with woodcuts of mythological scenes reproducing those of the earlier edition. Brunet I: 986; BMC/STC French p 71.
